This had gone bud, It's been marked sold for a while. Don't know why PB haven't removed it yet. Cheers

Depends what riding! If its national-spec downhill then it is. Very reliable too. I'm only getting rid because we're racing Gravity Enduro next year and I have an Alpine in the shed.

8mm cap out, wind the crank extractor all the way out and screw it into the crank. Then wind the arm all the way in to drive the drive-side crank off. Then just tap the axle through.

They are plastic covers finished in carbon-look. They protect the actual lowers from uplift damage. Worth every penny.

Great review Ali, just one or two points I wouldn't necessarily agree on. The first being Der Baron not stopping too well. I have found them to stop significantly better that the equivalent Swamp Thing and this was one of the first comments I made about the first incarnation of the Rain King to Continental. The other point I don't necessarily agree on is that of both the tyres rolling more slowly than the rivals. I have been able to run all my Continental tyres at higher pressures than I normally would due to the Black Chilli compound, which in turn means faster rolling speed/lower rolling resistance. There is a certain amount of personal preference involved in this though! Also, I think a High Roller would be a more direct comparison to Der Kaiser, a faster tyre may be on the way ;-) Good reading anyway.
